Are you close to the centre of town?
We sure are! Forrest Holiday Park is located in Forrest, Victoria, just five minutes walk from the centre of town.
Do you have shower facilities at the park?
Yes, we do. Forrest Holiday Park has an amenities block which includes showers, toilets and laundry.
Is the park pet friendly?
Pets are welcome at the Forrest Holiday Park, as we understand that pets love to go on holidays too! To ensure that you enjoy your stay with all our other guests, we must ensure that all Pet owners take full responsibility for their pet and ensure they do not disturb other guests when on the property.
Park Management must be notified at the time of booking if you wish to bring your pet to make sure they comply with our guidelines.
Please read the information below to ensure you and your dog can meet the following conditions:
Under no circumstances are pets permitted in the amenity blocks or camp kitchen
Pets are not permitted in cabins
Cats are not permitted to roam freely at any time
Dogs are only allowed to enter the property of other guests if prior consent is given
At all times, dogs are to be kept on a leash
Dogs are not permitted to be left unattended within the park
No barking or yapping allowed
What if I need to change my reservation term?
Any change in reservation term will be treated as a new booking and additional charges may apply. Any extension to a booking is subject to availability. Refunds will not be given for early departure or late arrival to the reserved date.
What is your cancellation policy?
CANCELLATION POLICIES
Standard Rate: Offpeak and Shoulder period Cancellation Policy
Full pre-payment is required at the time of booking and you may modify or cancel your booking at no cost until 7 days before arrival. Cancellation more than 7 days prior to arrival is possible for a full refund less a $25 administrative fee, or you may choose to hold the full payment as a credit for a future booking. If cancelling within 7 days of arrival, the full prepayment is non-refundable and no credits or transfers are possible.
Standard Rate: Peak period Cancellation Policy
Peak season is any long weekend, school holidays, winter ski season, Melbourne Cup weekend, Easter, Christmas and local or special events. Full pre-payment is required at the time of booking and you may modify or cancel your booking at no cost until 14 days before arrival. Cancellation more than 14 days prior to arrival is possible for a full refund less a $25 administrative fee, or you may choose to hold the full payment as a credit for a future booking. If cancelling within 14 days of arrival, the full prepayment is non-refundable and no credits or transfers are possible.
Plan Ahead & Save Rate: Cancellation Policy
Full pre-payment is required at the time of booking and payment is non-refundable. You may modify your booking at no cost until 7 days before arrival. Cancellation more than 7 days prior to arrival is possible for a full credit to be used for a future booking. If cancelling within 7 days of arrival, the full prepayment is non-refundable and no credits or transfers are possible.
No refunds will be given for early departure under any circumstances.
We do not refund for Covid related cancellations.
Adverse weather is not a valid reason for cancellation.
Extreme weather including code red days, bushfires and flooding events do not incur cancellation fees, but are decided on by Park Management once advice is provided by State Emergency Organisations.
What is your Payment Policy?
Full payments are made at the time of booking. If you have only paid a deposit on a legacy booking, final payment will automatically be taken 30 days prior to your arrival for long weekends, Melbourne Cup weekend, Christmas, Easter and Victorian School Holidays final pay.  There are no refunds given during this time.
Should the number of people vary, the tariff may alter. Additional fees are applicable for day and overnight visitors. Please ensure if you are having visitors that they register at the office on arrival.
Prices are subject to change without notice. All bookings during peak times require a valid credit number or full payment to secure your booking. Peak season is any long weekend, school holiday, Easter and Christmas or Special Events.
When can guests use Forrest Common for overflow?
- 4 days Melbourne Cup - November 4th to 7 th 2023
- 7 days Christmas - December 24th to 30th
- 7 days New Year - January 31 st to 6 th, 2024
- 4 days Otway Odessey - February 22nd to 25th 2024
- 4 days Labour Day - March 8 th to 11th 2024
- 7 days Easter - March 28th to April 3 rd , 2024
- 4 days Anzac Day - April 25th to 28th 2024
